該公共項(xiàng)目將跨學(xué)科技能、參與式實(shí)踐和創(chuàng)新方法三者整合在一起，同時(shí)融入了場(chǎng)地的再開(kāi)發(fā)，以及塑造出對(duì)公共空間的一種集體意識(shí)。建筑學(xué)、社會(huì)心理學(xué)研究、藝術(shù)與傳播在同一個(gè)項(xiàng)目中齊頭并進(jìn)，旨在調(diào)動(dòng)市民積極地參與到城市更新項(xiàng)目中來(lái)。

Toscanini是一處建于上個(gè)世紀(jì)90年代的社會(huì)住房區(qū)域，位于意大利中部的中型城市Aprilia郊區(qū)。由于該社區(qū)基礎(chǔ)設(shè)施的缺失，日益嚴(yán)重的物質(zhì)與社會(huì)經(jīng)濟(jì)問(wèn)題都顯現(xiàn)出來(lái)。隨著時(shí)間的推移，該社區(qū)逐漸被城市規(guī)劃所忽視，小型犯罪事件頻發(fā)，非法占有房屋也時(shí)有發(fā)生，催生了民眾的被遺棄感與不安全感，使得這里成為城市規(guī)劃失敗的象征，增加了居民之間的隔閡，并在社會(huì)結(jié)構(gòu)中凸顯出來(lái)。

The approach integrates interdisciplinary skills, participatory practices and innovative methods in a public project, combining the physical redevelopment of places with the construction of a collective sense of public space. Architecture, psycho-social research, art and communication work together in a programme of events and activities, aimed at actively involving citizens in the urban renewal project.

Toscanini is a social housing district built in the 1990s on the outskirts of Aprilia, a medium-sized city in central Italy. The failure to carry out primary infrastructures for the neighborhood has contributed to the progressive physical and socio-economic malaise and over time, neglect, petty crime and unlawful possession of homes have fueled a general sense of abandonment and insecurity, making “the pit” a symbol of the urban planning failure and increasing the physical distance from the inhabitants, recognizable also in the social fabric.

規(guī)劃設(shè)計(jì)除了促進(jìn)公共空間品質(zhì)的提升外，還發(fā)揮著更加復(fù)雜的功能。它激發(fā)了居民對(duì)這里的再利用與重新功能化，也自然加強(qiáng)了社區(qū)內(nèi)居住和使用這里的居民群體間的連接。

Design, in addition to improving the quality of urban space, becomes here a complex action, which stimulates the reuse and re-functionalization of public areas and simultaneously acts as a tool to strengthen bonds within the community which will inhabit and use those spaces.

該建筑項(xiàng)目的設(shè)計(jì)任務(wù)是塑造一個(gè)能夠承載與促進(jìn)社區(qū)實(shí)現(xiàn)良好轉(zhuǎn)化的場(chǎng)所，同時(shí)提升場(chǎng)地特色。設(shè)計(jì)意象最初圍繞兩個(gè)基本方面展開(kāi)：一是增強(qiáng)場(chǎng)地可達(dá)性，彌合初始的距離感，代以開(kāi)放與包容的場(chǎng)地關(guān)系；二是留置自由空間，以方便集體使用或進(jìn)行各類嘗試，鼓勵(lì)居民調(diào)用空間，從而讓社區(qū)看到新的可能性。該項(xiàng)目旨在打造一處完整而又未完成的空間，未被定義固化將是它的最大亮點(diǎn)。

The architectural project is entrusted with the task of giving shape to a place that hosts and promotes this process, enhancing the features of the context. The design choices are initially oriented around two fundamental aspects: to make the area accessible, bridging the initial distance and replacing it with an open and inclusive place of relationships; to leave free space for collective uses and experiments, encouraging appropriation by the inhabitants, while suggesting new visions for the neighborhood. The process aims to create a complete but unfinished space, where indeterminacy is its strongest point.

此處的建筑工地不再是工人的專屬場(chǎng)所，而成為一處“開(kāi)放”的場(chǎng)地，供居民在此集思廣益，體現(xiàn)出可達(dá)性、可見(jiàn)性、充分溝通交流的特點(diǎn)，讓居民參與到了轉(zhuǎn)型過(guò)程中來(lái)，從而共同促進(jìn)了社區(qū)功能的實(shí)現(xiàn)。

The construction site, no longer an exclusive place for workers, becomes a moment of collective creation, an “open” place in which accessibility, visibility and communication involve the inhabitants in the transformation and accompany the progressive appropriation by the community.

一個(gè)跨學(xué)科的工作小組參與了項(xiàng)目的發(fā)起、規(guī)劃設(shè)計(jì)、協(xié)調(diào)合作的完整社區(qū)建設(shè)過(guò)程，其目標(biāo)旨在充分調(diào)研當(dāng)?shù)匚幕訌?qiáng)社區(qū)關(guān)聯(lián)，并使其與在建的公共空間相協(xié)調(diào)。

項(xiàng)目設(shè)計(jì)及其成果實(shí)現(xiàn)了Prossima Apertura社區(qū)真正的創(chuàng)新。各種豐富的活動(dòng)作為施工現(xiàn)場(chǎng)進(jìn)展的互補(bǔ)內(nèi)容而平行展開(kāi)，包括在周圍舉辦小型活動(dòng)、參觀正在施工的區(qū)域、逐步完工區(qū)域內(nèi)的工作室講習(xí)。焦點(diǎn)小組、現(xiàn)場(chǎng)演講、實(shí)地考察與圓桌協(xié)調(diào)會(huì)議圍繞著該社區(qū)展開(kāi)，使社區(qū)變得更加活躍，也促進(jìn)了居民間的對(duì)話。

Together with the construction site, the community building process is initiated, designed and coordinated by an interdisciplinary working group, with the aim of investigating the local culture, strengthening the community and reconciling it to the public spaces under construction.

The programme along the works is the real innovation of Prossima Apertura. The integrated activities are parallel and complementary actions to the development of the construction site: events in the vicinity, visits to the area under construction, events and workshops in the progressively completed areas. Focus groups, public presentations, site visits and coordination round tables gather around the area an active and informed community in a constant dialogue.

在廣場(chǎng)之外，建筑的介入延伸至歐羅巴公園，該公園是一處占地35000m2的綠色區(qū)域。經(jīng)由規(guī)劃設(shè)計(jì)，未充分利用的區(qū)域搖身一變，承擔(dān)起露天教室與集體托兒所的功能。通過(guò)重新定義與完善穿越公園的車行道與人行道，該項(xiàng)目也將社區(qū)內(nèi)的公共空間整合成了完整的體系。

Beyond the square, the architectural intervention extends to Parco Europa, a 35,000 square meter green area where an underused space becomes an open air classroom and a collective nursery. By redefining and completing the cycle and pedestrian paths that cross the park, the project transforms the public spaces of the neighborhood into a system.
