項(xiàng)目簡(jiǎn)述:

項(xiàng)目位于深圳南山區(qū)阿里巴巴中心一樓臨街商鋪,實(shí)用面積為122平方,定位精品全英語(yǔ)教學(xué)早托機(jī)構(gòu)。設(shè)計(jì)上從“精打細(xì)算”切入,在有限的空間里創(chuàng)造出不緊迫的尺度關(guān)系,同時(shí)打造充滿樂趣和寬松條件的空間感受。

Project Description: This project is located on the first floor, Ali Center, Nanshan District, Shenzhen, with a usable area of 122 square meters. The project is designed to create a boutique nursery with immersive English teaching. At the design level, “Maximize Potential” is the pointcut. This means building a spacious scale relationship in limited space, while creating a space full of fun and relaxation.

與知學(xué)院項(xiàng)目位于深圳南山區(qū)。深圳作為一個(gè)人口密集且工作繁忙的城市,需要大量的教育機(jī)構(gòu)為這里的年輕父母群體服務(wù),對(duì)于分散在社區(qū)以及忙碌人群集中的辦公區(qū)的群體而言,同樣需要能夠就近得到服務(wù)的兒童托育機(jī)構(gòu)。然而,這些環(huán)境下有限的場(chǎng)地意味著無(wú)法開設(shè)大型兒童托育機(jī)構(gòu)。

Insight Academy is located in Nanshan District, Shenzhen. As a densely-populated and fast-paced city, Shenzhen has a huge demand from young parents for high-quality educational institutions. Especially for groups scattered in the community and work areas, there is an increasing demand for childcare facilities that can be serviced nearby. However, limited space in these areas also means that large childcare facilities cannot be established.

定位精品全英語(yǔ)教學(xué)早托機(jī)構(gòu),與知學(xué)院因應(yīng)市場(chǎng)需求而生,選址在阿里巴巴中心一樓臨街商鋪,招生人數(shù)為一個(gè)班,16個(gè)孩子。如何在有限的條件下做出最適合的解決方案,圓道設(shè)計(jì)給出答案——“精打細(xì)算”,即合理利用空間。希望通過對(duì)兒童天性、教學(xué)理念和空間特點(diǎn)的剖析,能夠在有限的空間里創(chuàng)造出不緊迫的尺度關(guān)系,破除“小型機(jī)構(gòu)孩子的活動(dòng)和探索尺度不足”的一貫看法,同時(shí)打造充滿樂趣和寬松條件的空間感受。

Positioned as a boutique immersive English teaching nursery, Insight Academy was established in response to the market demand. It located on the first floor of Ali Center (the headquarter of Alibaba Group) with a total of 16 students. Maximizing the space usage in a limited area was the challenge for VMDPE Design. They worked out the solution—Maximizing Potential by utilizing the space reasonably. By exploring the children's nature, teaching ideas and space features, the designers created a spacious scale relationship in a limited space as a way to remove the traditional views on insufficiency in children activities in a small institute, and also created a space full of fun and relaxation.

“群體單位”“Group Unit”

在與知學(xué)院所遵循的教學(xué)理念中,“沉浸式全英語(yǔ)教學(xué)”以及“關(guān)注每一個(gè)孩子”是最重要的。對(duì)此,圓道設(shè)計(jì)重新審視語(yǔ)言教學(xué)與空間的關(guān)系,通過場(chǎng)景化的室內(nèi)設(shè)計(jì)為孩子們創(chuàng)造更多可以自然進(jìn)行溝通及社交的活動(dòng)條件,同時(shí)采用更低比例的師生比的空間劃分。

Among the teaching philosophies followed by Insight Academy, “Immersive English Teaching” and “Every Unique Child” are two of the most important terms. With these ideas in mind, VMDPE Design has reconsidered the relationship between language teaching and learning space. VMDPE Design has created more of the necessary conditions for children to communicate and socialize naturally through scenario-based design. Concurrently, a higher teacher-student ratio was also reflected in the space division.

在內(nèi)部組織布局上,體現(xiàn)一種“群體單位”的構(gòu)思,圓道設(shè)計(jì)將一個(gè)班一分為二,由16人變?yōu)?人,處于對(duì)角關(guān)系的兩個(gè)獨(dú)立小房子是兩個(gè)班的課室,門口各有專屬的獨(dú)立活動(dòng)空間,兩個(gè)部分組合成一個(gè)群體單位。門采用推拉式,全部拉開后實(shí)際上就最大化了活動(dòng)空間,從而滿足更大的教學(xué)活動(dòng)的需要。

The internal space design structure embodied a concept of "Group Unit". VMDPE Design divided one big class into two small classes, and each class had 8 students. The two independent small houses on the diagonal were the two classrooms. Each class had its own activity space in front of the sliding door. These two parts were combined into a group unit. With the two sliding doors fully opened, the space for activities were maximized to meet the needs of more teaching activities.

 “對(duì)話窗口” “Dialog Box”

為了強(qiáng)化情景式和社交式設(shè)計(jì),這兩個(gè)獨(dú)立的區(qū)域呈現(xiàn)交錯(cuò)擺放的布置,以此形成兩個(gè)群體對(duì)話的關(guān)系。兩個(gè)房子之間對(duì)內(nèi)的對(duì)角上分別有一個(gè)“班級(jí)互動(dòng)窗”,在兩個(gè)班級(jí)之間充當(dāng)互動(dòng)的接口,窗口本身是一塊黑板,可以結(jié)合實(shí)際教學(xué)內(nèi)容,分別模擬成“小郵局”“小商店”等具備角色扮演的場(chǎng)景。

In order to highlight the scenario and social design, the two independent classrooms were staggered to form dialogues between the two classes. There was a "Class Interaction Window" on the opposite corner between the two houses. This acted as an interactive interface between two classes. The window itself was a blackboard that could be combined with the actual teaching content to simulate the role-playing scenarios, such as post office and shop.

與此同時(shí),每個(gè)班級(jí)的對(duì)外的窗戶上都安裝了一個(gè)“街道互動(dòng)窗口”裝置,用于展示孩子們的作品向外面世界的人們提出的問題,以此建立孩子與社會(huì)的對(duì)話關(guān)系。比如“猜猜看我畫的是什么?”而經(jīng)過的路人,可以通過在外側(cè)扭動(dòng)手把,將隱藏的小球掉落在他們選擇的答案的那個(gè)區(qū)域里,作為對(duì)孩子提問的回饋?!拔覀兿M眠@種方式讓孩子們用一種安全,有趣的方式感受到來(lái)自外界的反饋,而對(duì)于路人來(lái)說,也是一種上班路上有趣的經(jīng)歷?!?/p>

Besides, a street interactive window device was installed on the external window of each class to display the students’ work, and the questions raised by students to outsiders. “Guess What I Draw” was a good example. Passers-by can twist the handle on the outside, and hidden balls will fall in the area of the answer they choose in their response to the students’ question. "We hope this way allows children to obtain feedback from the outside in a safe distance and a fun way, while for passersby, it is also an interesting experience on the way to work." In this way, a dialogue   between children and society was established.

場(chǎng)外制作的手法 Off-site Production Techniques

為了達(dá)到合理利用空間目的,同時(shí)保證所有功能模塊有機(jī)整體地組合在一起,以及基于環(huán)保角度的最大程度地減少噪音和現(xiàn)場(chǎng)粉塵,圓道設(shè)計(jì)使用了拼裝安裝的方法,并且在設(shè)計(jì)手法及工程工藝上都做了調(diào)整。

In order to use the space properly, all functional modules were integrated entirely and accurately, thus, based on eco-friendly concerns, minimizing the noise and dust. VMDPE Design used   assembled parts with consideration of optimizing the design methods and engineering process. They regarded the entire space as a large device, and considered each part as a process that could be transported and assembled separately.   

面對(duì)寸金寸土的城市環(huán)境,日益增長(zhǎng)的早教需求,圓道設(shè)計(jì)作出了對(duì)精品微小型托育機(jī)構(gòu)的理解,突破面積限制,以設(shè)計(jì)深化空間用途,讓兒童在成長(zhǎng)中的探索活動(dòng)不再局限于尺度和規(guī)模,回歸教育的本質(zhì)。

In order to resolve the conflict between the high cost of land in urban areas, and an ever-increasing demand for early year education, VMDPE Design has made great progress towards boutique micro-education institutions. This has been achieved by breaking through the limitations caused by small spaces, and maximizing that area available. Exploration activities are no longer limited to scale and size during childhood for all children. This returns the essence in the value of education.
