9月1日,一年一度的美國(guó)建筑獎(jiǎng)(AMERICAN ARCHITECTURE AWARDS FOR 2011)隆重揭曉。該獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)被認(rèn)為是全美最負(fù)盛譽(yù)的建筑作品獎(jiǎng),由芝加哥ATHENAEUM建筑與設(shè)計(jì)博物館和歐洲建筑設(shè)計(jì)藝術(shù)和城市研究中心組織。作為2011年全美最杰出的項(xiàng)目,45個(gè)獲獎(jiǎng)作品由6位杰出評(píng)委從來(lái)至世界各地的400入圍作品中選出,并授予“美國(guó)建筑獎(jiǎng)”的殊榮。中國(guó)有三個(gè)項(xiàng)目獲此殊榮,它們分別是以俞孔堅(jiān)教授領(lǐng)銜的北京土人設(shè)計(jì)的上海后灘公園、STEVEN HOLL設(shè)計(jì)事務(wù)所設(shè)計(jì)的深圳萬(wàn)科中心和SOM 設(shè)計(jì)的重慶金融中心大廈。
“ 競(jìng)爭(zhēng)異常激烈,結(jié)果令人嘆為觀止。” 主辦方如此表述本次評(píng)獎(jiǎng)過(guò)程。
“美國(guó)建筑獎(jiǎng)”是上海后灘公園繼2010年獲得全美景觀設(shè)計(jì)杰出獎(jiǎng)和世界建筑節(jié)“世界景觀獎(jiǎng)”之后,獲得的又一國(guó)際權(quán)威獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)。該項(xiàng)目是上海世博園的一部分,位于黃埔江邊,原址是一片工業(yè)棕地。北京土人通過(guò)生態(tài)設(shè)計(jì),利用景觀的生態(tài)過(guò)程將劣五類水凈化為三類水,并將棕地改造成了多種生物的棲息地和優(yōu)美宜人的城市公園。其設(shè)計(jì)展示了一種以生態(tài)系統(tǒng)服務(wù)為目的的全新的公園設(shè)計(jì)理念,建成后獲得廣泛關(guān)注。
據(jù)悉,所有獲獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)目將于阿根廷布宜諾斯艾利斯國(guó)際建筑雙年展中展出。

THREE PROJECTS FROM CHINA WON THE BEST NEW ARCHITECTURE IN THE UNITED STATES FOR 2011
SEPTEMBER 1, 2011 the winners of the prestigious American Architecture Awards for 2011 were announced. Three projects from china including SHANGHAI HOUTAN PARK by Turenscape leading by Professor Kongjian Yu won this prestigious award. The other two winners from China are HORIZONTAL SKYSCRAPER VANKE CENTER at Shenzhen, China by Steven Holl Architects and CHONGQING RIVER TOWER by SOM
The American Architecture Awards is organized annually by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies, The American Architecture Awards are the highest and most esteemed recognition for the best new building design produced by leading architects, urban planners, and landscape architects in the United States.
The 45 selected projects and the architecture firms behind them represent exceptional work by architects practicing in the United States in four categories: interiors, architecture, un-built work and urban design. Each winning project was chosen for its exemplary originality, highest aesthetic criteria, and contribution to the Green movement. The criteria used by the jury included design quality, program resolution, innovation, thoughtfulness and technique. Projects had to be completed by architects/designers as of 2009, including practitioners either practicing or having offices in the United States.
All winning work for 2011 will be exhibited at, “New World Architecture,” which takes place at the XIII BA11-International Biennial of Architecture Buenos Aires. The exhibition takes place at Centro Cultural Recoleta at Jun in 1930 (C.P. 1113) Buenos Aires.
