　　項(xiàng)目用地位于中國歷史上最早被皇家欽定為觀音道場的廣德寺，酒店的設(shè)計(jì)靈感正是源于拜塔禮佛。依山而建，順勢而生的建筑形態(tài)宛如一座橫臥于山坡上的佛塔，沿酒店表面的禪徑拾級而上的過程，即演繹成為蹬塔禮佛修身養(yǎng)性的過程。酒店融入自然之中，與對岸的廣德寺遙相輝映，成為參禪禮佛過后修身養(yǎng)性的最佳場所。

建筑充分體現(xiàn)了隱于山林，自然本位的禪宗思想，讓自然成為悟道的媒介，審美更趨向于禪的空寂與明快。從公共空間到私密空間，從休閑空間到會議空間，從客房到庭院，建筑注重的是人與自然的和諧，強(qiáng)調(diào)的是在環(huán)境中自我的體會，修身和頓悟。

　　The site is located across the river from the Guangde Temple, the first official temple of Guangying Bodhimanda. This close proximity became the inspiration for the hotel, which is to create not only an Architectural dialogue, but a spiritual dialogue, with the temple as well.

　　The shape of the hotel is an abstraction of the reclining Buddha resting on the hillside. A “Zen Road” leads the guests up the hotel or a “journey of self-cultivation” to worship Buddha. Once at the top, guests are offered an unobstructed view of Guangde Temple, which in turn and as we hoped, inspire meditation and awe.
