^Orientation

說起鄭州，我們也許首先會去鄭東看新區(qū)成果，再去港區(qū)看航空港建設(shè)，然而港區(qū)之后便無處可去，鄭州三千年歷史，卻沒有一處能夠拿出手的文化地標(biāo)。

方頂村南靠五云山，北望邙嶺，水河穿流而過，地處丘陵之地三面環(huán)山，擁抱百畝棘寨湖，給人吉利之感，屬于依山傍水、藏風(fēng)聚氣的風(fēng)水寶地，真可謂“卜云其吉，終焉允臧”

方頂村始建于600多年前，被河南省政府評為河南歷史文化名村，是遠(yuǎn)近聞名的“翰林故里，教師之鄉(xiāng)”。其深沉的歷史積淀、濃厚的人文氣息賦予了方頂村不可磨滅的精神印記?，F(xiàn)存古民居43家院落，房間279間，較為完整的院落13家，現(xiàn)有村民居住的院落20多家。古建筑、古跡的總體面積20多畝，包括街道、祠堂、名人故居和村民住房。

方頂村建筑從明代中期一直延續(xù)到現(xiàn)在，大多以清代和民國時期的建筑為主，保留有黃土高原特有的窯洞和山西、陜西、河南等中原地區(qū)傳統(tǒng)的房屋、獨(dú)特的單面坡頂房、繡樓等。

設(shè)計(jì)以延續(xù)和保護(hù)場地語言為基礎(chǔ)，以方頂村地勢地貌為依托，將建筑、環(huán)境、人文匯聚于此。采取保留場地中具有分割空間的龍脊山體，保留現(xiàn)狀可利用的植物，場地較為平整的區(qū)域作為市民聚集主要活動空間，利用好山體與湖面的階梯關(guān)系的策略來進(jìn)行設(shè)計(jì)。

相傳村里依山而建共有十三座寨門，以自然地形和宅院房屋建筑為寨墻，形成自然的屏障。故方頂村有十門不通的說法，有一夫當(dāng)關(guān)萬夫莫開之說。

方頂村山環(huán)水抱，前抵后高，前有小河，后有半山，前有秀水旺宅聚氣，地形穩(wěn)如泰山，有名堂寬廣，視野開闊，小河灣灣，九曲玉帶懷抱，給人吉利之感。

環(huán)湖而生，地形穩(wěn)如泰山，視野開闊，潺潺細(xì)水，九曲玉帶懷抱，靜謐湖水引紫氣東來，得天地之利藏水聚氣。光影因借，倒影成雙，映射的天空和周圍的景物，使水體與環(huán)境融為一體，使空間更加具有凝聚力。氣象、地址、水文、建筑，渾然天成融為一體。
