2022年以一抹藍(lán)色驚艷開場(chǎng)！由Arttenders 和Studio Spass聯(lián)合設(shè)計(jì)的巴爾的摩港多功能藝術(shù)游樂場(chǎng)現(xiàn)已圓滿竣工，它矗立在巴爾的摩廣場(chǎng)上，異彩紛呈。該項(xiàng)目由阿爾梅勒市政府委托，并于2022年2月9日由女市政議員Hilde van Garderen主持揭幕儀式。

2022 starts with a bang! And a blue bang at that. The multi-functional art playground Baltimore Bend, designed by Arttenders and Studio Spass, has been finalized and is shining in all its brilliance in the Baltimore Square. The work is commissioned by the municipality of Almere, and has been festively opened today by alderwoman Hilde van Garderen.

設(shè)計(jì)方Arttenders鼓勵(lì)整個(gè)社區(qū)參與到設(shè)計(jì)過程之中，由此獲得了廣泛的群眾支持。比如，Almere Buiten區(qū)域的孩子們?yōu)榱嗽诎蜖柕哪V場(chǎng)尋找理想的游樂場(chǎng)地而集思廣益。他們的手工藝術(shù)品為藝術(shù)游樂場(chǎng)的四種設(shè)計(jì)形式提供了靈感。在Almere Buiten居民舉行的公開投票中，“Baltimore Bend”被選定為游樂場(chǎng)景觀名稱。去年秋季，Arttenders 聯(lián)合Studio Spass 與 Mannen van Staal展開合作，在工作室內(nèi)完成了鋼結(jié)構(gòu)框架的開發(fā)。

Arttenders has generated a broad support base in Almere Buiten by involving the neighborhood in the design process. Children from Almere Buiten have for example helped figuring out their ideal playground for the square at Baltimore. Their crafts served as inspiration for four designs for the artistic playground. The design titles Baltimore Bend was declared the winner in a public vote held among residents of Almere Buiten. During last year’s fall, Arttenders and Studio Spass collaborated with Mannen van Staal to develop the steel construction in their workshop.

Baltimore Bend is part of the urban renewal of the center of Almere Buiten. Hilde van Garderen, alderwoman of Urban Renewal: “I am glad the work is now finished, and we can finally reveal it to the residents of Almere Buiten. Baltimore Bend is a nice combination of park, playground and art. Together with local partners, we work hard on the challenge to make the center attractive and future-proof again for the residents, entrepreneurs and visitors. And with this unique design, the center will definitely be a lot more attractive!”

Resident’s turn

巴爾的摩港由Arttenders和Studio Spass工作室的Jaron Korvinus 和 Daan Mens合作開發(fā)。他們一同將傳統(tǒng)游樂場(chǎng)的概念拔升至更高的層次。Arttenders的創(chuàng)始人Faye Ellen說：“通過社會(huì)型設(shè)計(jì)，我們確保這件藝術(shù)作品不僅僅是視覺的盛宴，還為周圍環(huán)境提供功能性和社會(huì)性的服務(wù)。因此，居民的意向和場(chǎng)地本身的技術(shù)需求是設(shè)計(jì)過程的出發(fā)點(diǎn)?！?/p>

Baltimore Bend has been developed by Arttenders in collaboration with Jaron Korvinus and Daan Mens of Studio Spass. Together, they have raised the traditional concept of a playground to a higher level. Faye Ellen, founder of Arttenders: “Through social design we ensure that a work of art is not only a feast for the eyes, but also serves a functional and social purpose for its surroundings. The wishes of the residents and technical demands of the location itself have therefore been the starting point of the design process.”

設(shè)計(jì)中考慮了各個(gè)年齡段的意向。Studio Spass的Jaron Korvinos說：“我們因?yàn)榘柮防帐性O(shè)計(jì)了一件藝術(shù)品而感到非常榮幸，它不僅造型獨(dú)特，還為當(dāng)?shù)鼐用裉峁┝送鏄返膱?chǎng)所。Almere Buiten區(qū)域內(nèi)的建筑物及周邊環(huán)境激發(fā)了我們對(duì)這一有趣設(shè)計(jì)的靈感，我們對(duì)形式和互動(dòng)的追求在這里完美融契合！”

The wishes of all age groups have been considered in the design. Jaron Korvinus of Studio Spass: “We feel very privileged to design a work of art for the Municipality of Almere which is not only special to look at, but which can also be played with by its residents. The architecture and surroundings of Almere Buiten have inspired us to this playful design, in which our fascination for form and interaction perfectly align!”

有機(jī)的造型及其設(shè)計(jì)靈感受到了阿爾梅勒市豐富多彩的實(shí)驗(yàn)性建筑、，水景以及城市和居民多樣性的啟發(fā)。其藍(lán)色采集于水景與社區(qū)居民帶來的顏色樣本。此外，該應(yīng)用型藝術(shù)裝置不僅可以作為孩子們的游樂場(chǎng)，也為不同的目標(biāo)群體提供多種服務(wù)功能。對(duì)于Almere Buiten的年輕人、老年人、殘障人士和游客來說，更新過后的巴爾的摩廣場(chǎng)可作為聚會(huì)場(chǎng)所、運(yùn)動(dòng)場(chǎng)地和娛樂中心使用。巴爾的摩港歡迎每一個(gè)人的到來！

The organic shape with its cut outs are inspired by the city of Almere: her colorful and experimental architecture，the water of Almere and the diversity of the city and her inhabitants. The blue color is therefore a reflection of the water and color samples taken from the neighborhood. Besides this, the applied artwork is more than just a playground for children; the artwork serves multiple functions for diverse target groups. For young people, elderly, disabled and visitors of Almere Buiten, the renewed Baltimore Square acts as a meeting place, sporting venue and recreational hub. Baltimore Bend has something for everyone!

彎曲的形狀和明亮彩色鋼結(jié)構(gòu)內(nèi)部的孔洞，打造出一條有趣的路徑，邀請(qǐng)著人們前來探索不同的區(qū)域。抽象且創(chuàng)新式的設(shè)計(jì)激勵(lì)著孩子們利用想象力與創(chuàng)造力描繪出自己的游戲空間。該藝術(shù)裝置的開放式造型確保了家長(zhǎng)和孩子們之間視野清晰，同時(shí)將藝術(shù)構(gòu)筑物與周邊環(huán)境聯(lián)結(jié)為一體。

Through the curved shape and perforations in the brightly colored steel construction, a playful and interesting route is created which invites for exploration of different areas. The abstract and innovative design stimulates children to use their fantasy and creativity to make their own play environment. The open shape of the artwork ensures a clear view for parent and child and connects the artwork with its direct urban surroundings.
